Part-time We currently have a short term vacancy for a Social Worker to work in our Older People & Hospital Social Work Services. The suitable candidate will be expected to deliver a high quality social work service to individuals who are deemed vulnerable or needing support. They will need to work with the citizen, carers and families to provide support and to develop resilience and independence, ensuring that the citizen, families and carers are at the centre of decision making about their lives and the outcomes that they want to achieve.
Skills and qualifications required:
• Social Work Qualified, minimum 3 years post qualified plus technology & software skills
• Registered with Social Care Wales. If not already registered, they will need to register in order to work in Conwy County Borough Council.
• Team work & interpersonal skills Please see attached job description and person specification for full requirements.
In order to be shortlisted for interview, candidates will need to meet the essential criteria as stated in the Person Specification.
The assignment is for 37HPW, Monday – Friday.
There is an expectation that candidate lives locally or with in a commutable distance as the position is located in Conwy County.
The worker will work from the office – Llys Dyfrig, Llandudno, Conwy.
The assignment is expected to last approximately 12 weeks with potential to be extended.
